Autokan Rental is a modern car rental company based in Marpissa, Paros, which aims to offer reliable and flexible means of transportation to visitors and residents of the island. It was founded in 2024, combining high quality service with competitive prices, emphasizing on improving the mobility experience for each customer.

The creation of the business was made possible with the support of the STARTAB program, which contributed decisively to the development of a complete business plan, financial management and marketing strategy. Through the program, valuable knowledge was gained that led to the successful launch of Autokan Rental, with the acquisition of the first customers and the increase of its recognition in the market already in the first half of operation.

The family tradition played an important role in the creation of the business. The founder’s father, a shareholder of the company, has many years of experience in the automotive sector, passing on his love for cars and their maintenance. Although the involvement in cars has always been an innate inclination, the lack of business knowledge has been a significant challenge.  The STARTAB Program helped to acquire necessary skills and eliminate uncertainty about the sustainability of the project.

 Autokan Rental has managed to successfully establish and operate, acquire first customers and achieve positive results from the first half of the year. STARTAB has not only helped to understand entrepreneurship, But she also offered invaluable guidance through networking and support from her mentor.

Prior to joining the program, the lack of strategic and business experience created uncertainty about the future of the business. Today, the business is organized, with a clear goal and a strong business plan, while financial strategies and marketing have led to substantial growth.
