Evangelia Athanasiou is a mentor, biomedical engineer, and award-winning startup builder with a proven track record of translating research into impactful health tech ventures.
She has co-founded startups such as SENSSOS and Elysia Solutions, securing non-dilutive funding and leading participation in top accelerator programs including Cyprus Seeds, egg, CyEC, PwC Scale-Up, and Tenity in Zurich.
With hands-on experience in product development, medical device regulations, and go-to-market strategy, she brings a multidisciplinary and execution-driven approach to innovation.
Evangelia actively mentors youth teams and women founders through JA Cyprus, TechGirls, Women Techmakers, and AWE, and currently supports early-stage ventures as a business coach in the EU “Start for Future” and ACE Incubator programs.
