Through the support of the STARTAB Entrepreneurship Programme, businesses have been created from all sectors of the Greek economy. Retail stores, creative studios, sustainability services, training centers and property management services are some of the business ideas that have become reality in Attica, Thessaloniki, Patras and Kozani, encouraging young people all over Greece to take up entrepreneurship.

Yet another new success story has been added to the STARTAB success list. Through her extensive experience in physical education for children and adults, both as self-employed and as an employee, Anna Maria has proven her commitment to employment as an entrepreneur. This led her to create her business plan for the Fitness Spot business.

«Through the program I managed to improve several areas and gain knowledge and experiences that helped me to develop. Through understanding the analysis of the market, competitors, financials and all those elements that need to be researched and recorded I felt more empowered and should not proceed to realize my goals», says Anna-Maria Basoula for the support she received from the Programme.

Specifically for the mentoring stage, he emphasized that «The practical and psychological help I got from working with my mentor was crucial. Through the guidance offered by the Program, I was able to develop as a young entrepreneur and create a well-structured business plan, which I feel confident will help me achieve my goals».

The Fitness Spot will be a well-designed space for individual and group training programs, where the intensity of the exercise will be monitored live through a technological system. This system has as its philosophy the training based on the heart rate of 5 exercise zones.

STARTAB’s mission is to provide ongoing training and mentoring to young people to develop their business skills, be financially independent and experience a positive change in their lives.
