Emmanouil Avgerinos is a tenured Associate Professor of Decision Sciences in the area of Operations and Technology at IE Business School of IE University in Madrid. He holds a Bachelor and MSc in Electrical and Computer Engineering from National Technical University of Athens, an MSc in Operations Research from Columbia University of New York and a PhD in Operations Management from University College London.

His research interests include data analytics for healthcare and professional service operations, new product development and large scale optimization problems. His work has appeared in numerous top international journals of the Financial Time top 50 Journals list and conferences and has given talks in several international universities as well.

Over the past years, he has taught different data analytics related courses at IE Business School at the Master, MBA and PhD level and has also taught related courses in other universities like London Business School, London School of Economics and Political Science, University College London and Trinity College Dublin. In RevApp he is responsible for the product development, which is a dynamic pricing tool for hotel rooms and vacation rentals, since he has extensive experience in data analysis and pricing optimization.
